SAD news for the New Year at Rockland where the New Inn has once more closed its doors. Mick and Paula Walker (pictured) took over in late 2011 and gave it a good go – no-one had a bad word to say about them. But by the looks of it the numbers didn’t add up, so once again Rockland finds itself without a pub in the bleak mid-winter. It’s happened a number of times before. What’s the solution this time? ReplyDeleteI know that this was written a while ago, but the pub is open again, and does some amazing food. Would definitely recommend it.
